Welcome to my Pet Portrait Price and Size Guide, along with all other information that you will require to purchase a portrait of your beautiful pet.
Through my drawings I love to bring the character and soul of your beloved pets to life whilst creating a true likeness from your photographs. I work with high quality color pencils, Faber-Castell – Polychromos, Caran d’Ache Luminance pencils, and Derwent Studio pencils on Canson Bristol Vellum paper and Stonehenge Paper Pad-Multicolor.
9×12 and 11×14 paper sizes are ideal for single subject. 12×16, 14×20 and 18×24 are suitable for double or group subjects, but also single pet with a huge impact! The price is the same for a head shot or full body pose, all backgrounds will be left blank unless requested otherwise. There is no additional charge for including bridles, dog/cat collars etc.
I take full payment upfront in order to hold your place on my wait list. For portraits over $1,000 you can pay in installments and the portrait will be started once payments are complete.

I take commissions and ship worldwide. I am based in Canada, and the price list is in Canadian Dollars. However you can easily check the amount of your payment in any other currency by using the Currency Converter below. I may change the prices more than once a year, take the opportunity and order today!
How to Order
- Photos – Please email your favorite photo(s)of your pet. They must be clear photos showing the true color of your pets fur, (the more detailed the better), eye images must be clear and visible. Since I work from photos you provide me with, the completed portrait depends on their quality. To understand what type of pet pictures I require, visit my Pet Photography Tips page. Please note because of my waiting list I don’t need photos when you book, photos are required one month before I start your commission.
- Size – Confirm the size you would like your portrait to be.
- When? – Indicate when you would like the portrait completed. Please note, there is almost always a waiting list. Its status changes from weeks to months, depending on how many commissions I’ve booked in. I will confirm timescales based on my waiting list current status.
- Deposit – Once the above has been discussed and agreed upon, a full payment upfront is required to secure your portrait commissions and to start the work. Payment can be paid through PayPal, or instant bank transfer, whichever option is preferred. That’s it, your booking is confirmed with me! I look forward to drawing your much loved pet, and do my best to capture your family memories just as you wish. I will take it as an opportunity to even exceed your expectations.

Social Media
My art studio has a social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc. I post updates almost daily of whatever work including commissions I am working on. I also post short videos, and live feeds of commissions being completed. If your pet portrait is a gift, or you would rather I didn’t share any images of it being worked on, or the final piece, then please let me know when you contact me to place your order.
Worldwide Shipping
My pet portraits are available for worldwide shipping. Postage will include tracking and signing on the receipt so you can ensure your portrait will be delivered to you with great care and security. For International shipping, please allow 2-3 weeks transit time. Please note that international import duties & taxes from customs, are not included in portrait prices or shipping costs and are the buyer’s responsibility. I have no control over this, and therefore cannot accept responsibility over these.
Portrait Packaging
Each portrait is packaged in protective, archival (acid free) cellophane sleeve, and then wrapped in special wrapping materials. It is then packaged in a reinforced cardboard sleeves to keep it safe during transit. Certificate of Authenticity, and Care Instructions are included with every pet portrait.
